But here's where it gets really interesting... We've just had our first official glimpse at four iconic Spider-Man villains who will be making an appearance. A recent animated video shared by Brazilian news outlet Omelete showcased five striking posters. These posters put the spotlight squarely on Spider-Noir (played by Nicolas Cage, of course), Cat Hardy (brought to life by Li Jun Li), and a chilling lineup of adversaries: Electro (portrayed by Joe Massingill), Sandman (played by Jack Huston), and Silvermane (embodied by Brendan Gleeson). There's also an unidentified villain played by Abraham Popoola, who many are speculating could be the notorious Hammerhead. These powerful visuals have arrived just in time for the ramped-up marketing push ahead of CCXP in Mexico City, scheduled for April 24-26, 2026.
And this is the part most people miss... Spider-Noir is set to premiere on MGM+ in the United States on May 25, 2026, followed by a global release on Prime Video on May 27, 2026. The series is a significant addition to Sony's Spider-Man Universe, taking place in an alternate reality.
